ExtraAntivirus (Extra Antivirus) is yet another dangerous and fake application which is designed with the sole purpose of ensuring a sale by loading fraudulent security alerts onto an infected system. ExtraAntivirus is a replica of ExtraAntivir, Extra Antivir 2.8. ExtraAntivirus is capable of installing several Trojans applications aboard the compromised computer, however, one should bear in mind that the majority of infections ExtraAntivirus reports are in fact NOT present on the infected computer. ExtraAntivirus reports fictitious security threats, so as to make the user concerned about their computer’s security and accordingly coerce the user into purchasing a licensed version of ExtraAntivirus. Do not trust ExtraAntivirus. ExtraAntivirus should be removed as soon as possible.
